Everything You Need to Know about Selling Tradelines

We all could use a little bit of extra money, especially in the form of passive income. Earn more without putting in extra hours every day? Sounds good! This is where selling tradelines comes in. You can earn $500-$1000 every month renting your good credit history and unused credit card spots to people who are looking to enhance their score and reach their financial goals. The process is simple, safe, and secure, and best of all, you won't have to invest a lot of time to get paid!

Let's explore what you need to know to get started...

First, let's start with what a tradeline is.

A credit report tradeline is simply an industry term used to describe a credit account. You have credit accounts, and therefore you have tradelines. Tradelines come in the form of credit cards, lines of credit, car loans, mortgages, and payday advances. Here at TradelinesRx we focus solely on credit card tradelines.

How does the process work?

Selling your tradelines means you will add authorized users onto your credit cards temporarily, and get paid to do so. Don't worry, they won't get sent a card (more on that later)

TradelinesRx connects people who want to sell their tradelines with people who are looking to temporarily enhance their credit score so they can reach certain financial goals, like buying a home, getting approved for an apartment or getting their own credit cards. They can achieve these goals in a shorter amount of time by buying tradelines. You could even think of it as renting good credit history.

The person who is looking to rent good credit history will pay a tradeline company (like TradelinesRx), who acts as the matchmaker for their credit. We give them descriptions of the authorized user tradelines available, and they select which one they want to purchase and for how long. The cardholder (you), then adds this persona as an authorized user, and gets paid to do so. All throughout the process, TradelinesRx. makes sure that you feel informed and secure.

To rent your good credit history, you need good standing (no missed payments over 12 months), with a long history (1 year or older) and have a balance of 30% or less to the credit limit.

After you are qualified to sell your tradelines with TradelinesRx, you will be notified when someone has purchased your tradeline and informed on the next steps, which will be adding the person as an authorized user on your account.

After a few weeks, your credit card statement will close, and your credit card company reports to the credit agencies that this individual is now an authorized user on this card, which now, due to the amount of time the card has been open and the extra available credit, boosts their score. A month later, you will remove that person as an authorized user and you repeat the process with a new person. The cycle will continue, and you will continue to be paid every month. We'll also be in contact every step of the way, so you'll know exactly what's next!

How much can I make?

Of course, every person is different so your amount will depend on your cards, how many you have an how many authorized users you add. The older your credit card is, and the higher the credit limit, the more you get paid. While some credit card companies may allow you to add as many as 10 authorized users per card, we highly recommend only 3 people per card per month. Our trained professionals will guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have! On average last year our customers made $637 a month! Here are the answers to a few more of the frequently asked questions you may have at this point.

Do they get a card or can they spend on my card?

No, the authorized user is never given access to your credit card nor can they spend on it. Cards are sent directly to your primary billing address. You can simply cut that card up once it arrives.

Do they have access to my card or my personal information?

No, the authorized user is never given access to your personal information, credit card or account information. A credit report does not provide any information one would need to call your credit card company and access your account information.

Is this legal?

Adding an authorized user is backed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and explained in most paperwork that comes with your credit card. The process itself is an option available to all credit card holders and has often been used for children, relatives, and friends. This said, we are not lawyers so we suggest consulting an attorney for further questions.

Will this effect my credit score?

Adding authorized users to your account is not a criteria that effects your credit report or credit score.
